
It sounds obvious, doesn't it. But it's understandably often easier said than done.
"Murphy's Law" says that the MPI visit will (often) be unannounced, when you're busy on the farm, under pressure, and that the visit will be at the most inconvenient and frustrating time.
So "remain calm and be polite" is advice that's sometimes easier said than done. Maybe it'll help to remember though that failing what many MPI investigators and prosecutors refer to as the "attitude test" can be recorded, repeatedly referenced and come back to bite you all along the enforcement process.
